Staircase Delivery Across India

Our workshop is in Malad, Mumbai. Our work is not. We have completed more than 1,000 projects across India, and a staircase built here can be measured, fabricated, finished and installed almost anywhere in the country.

This page explains how that works when you are not in Mumbai: what we need from you, how long it takes, and what arrives on site.

How a project runs when you are not in Mumbai

• You send measurements and photos. Floor-to-floor height and the opening size do most of the work. Photos of the space tell us the rest.
• We quote against those numbers. The quote covers fabrication, finish, transport and installation, so there is no separate bill later.
• We produce a drawing. Nothing is cut until you have approved a drawing showing rise, going, headroom and the handrail height.
• We fabricate in Malad. Cutting, welding and finishing all happen in our own workshop rather than being subcontracted.
• It travels and is installed. A staircase does not move in one piece. It is built as components, finished, then assembled on site.

What we need before we can quote

Most enquiries stall because these are missing. If you send them in your first message we can usually come back within 24 hours.

• Floor-to-floor height, measured from finished floor to finished floor
• The size of the opening in the upper floor, or the space you want the staircase to occupy
• Whether the staircase is straight, spiral, curved, L-shaped or cantilevered, if you already know
• Preferred material: mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, glass, wood or a combination
• Photographs of the space, including the ceiling above
• Whether an existing staircase has to come out first
• Whether the building has lift access, and the width of the doors and passages the components must pass through

How long it takes

Fabrication time depends on complexity, not distance. A simple project can be as little as 2 weeks. An advanced custom build can take up to 12 weeks. Transport and installation are added to that and depend on where you are and on site conditions.

Design approval is the step most often underestimated. Fabrication does not begin until the drawing is signed off, so the sooner that is settled, the sooner the clock starts.

What arrives on site

Components arrive finished. Welding, grinding and coating are done in the workshop, where the conditions are controlled, rather than in your home. Site work is assembly, levelling, fixing and final checks.

We work in mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, tempered glass, cable systems and wood, including CNC-machined aluminium for door and window work.

Safety and compliance

Designs follow local and international building codes: handrail heights between 34 and 38 inches, appropriately spaced balusters, and child-safe spacing. If your building has its own requirements, send them with your measurements and we will design to them.

Common questions

Do you take projects outside Maharashtra?

Yes. Our completed work spans India, and delivery outside Mumbai is a normal part of what we do rather than an exception.

Who installs it?

Our own design, fabrication and installation team. The people who install your staircase are the people who built it.

Can you work from a drawing my architect supplies?

Yes. Send the drawing with the measurements and we will tell you whether it is buildable as drawn and what we would change.

What does a staircase cost?

It depends on span, material, finish and railing type, so a number given without your measurements would be meaningless. Send the dimensions above and you will get a real figure, not a range.

Can you replace or repair a staircase you did not build?

Yes. Repairs, refinishing and replacement railings are part of our services.
